Anton Rabie is a Co-Founder, Board Director and Rotating Chairman of Spin Master.  After graduating from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University in 1994, Anton partnered with friends Ronnen and Ben to create Spin Master.  Anton served as Spin Master’s Co-CEO for 28 years where he and his partners set the strategy and long-term vision for the company, which is now a global leader in children’s entertainment.  Renowned for its innovation and pushing the boundaries of play, Spin Master is comprised of three creative centres including toys, entertainment and digital games, and is best known for award-wining brands PAW Patrol, Bakugan, Hatchimals, Toca Boca and other popular play experiences. 

Anton’s fearless entrepreneurial spirit and resiliency were instrumental in Spin Master’s success, helping to create a culture of risk-taking and acceptance of failure.  In his tenure Anton led many functions including sales, marketing, human resources and organizational design, where he attracted and developed talent and forged relationships with domestic and international retailers.  Anton spearheaded the company’s global expansion with the establishment of international offices in more than 28 countries.  He also led and played a foundational role in more than 22 Spin Master acquisitions including Tech Deck, Cardinal, Meccano, GUND and most recently Rubik’s Cube. 

Described as an “energy force” and known for his leadership by colleagues, Anton is passionate about people, promoting the company’s culture and inspiring employees.  He is relentlessly committed to developing world-class talent and helping others to achieve greatness.  He is an out-of-the-box thinker, obsessed with continuous learning and embracing an open mindset.

Over the course of his career, Anton has received numerous accolades including recognition by The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business magazine as a Top 40 Under 40.  He generously shares his knowledge through mentoring others, speaking to students, and engaging in a wide range of community organizations and charitable causes.  Outside of work Anton enjoys spending time with his family, travelling to new destinations, and living a healthy lifestyle which includes his love of tennis.
