WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU ATTEND HUMOUR ME
When the first comedian steps onto the stage on October 7th, Humour Me will already be a success because of the generous contributions and support of our sponsors. Thank you!
Your E-tickets have been emailed to you. Doors to the Winter Garden Theatre at 189 Yonge Street will open at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Dress code is casual or business casual, although we are not sure there is a difference anymore.
As a reminder, with the Province of Ontario’s implementation of a mandatory vaccination policy, we have put protocols in place to protect the wellbeing of talent, production staff and audience members. To attend the show in person attendees must be fully vaccinated and wear a mask— that means you have received two doses of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before the event date. Upon arrival at the theatre, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination, photo ID and answer certain COVID-19 screening questions. If anyone in your group is feeling unwell, they should not enter the theatre. Proof of a negative COVID-19 test will not be accepted for admittance. You will be required to wear a mask in all areas of the theatre including in line during screening and throughout the show. Unfortunately, for safety reasons, we will not be serving food or beverages at this year’s event.
We confirm that your group will be seated together and will be separated by one or two seats from other groups, but there may be attendees in the row directly behind you or in front of you. We will be limiting capacity at the theatre to 50%.
These are challenging times for public gatherings and while the rules now permit them, risks still remain. While we are endeavoring to conduct a safe event, we cannot guarantee that any individual attending will not become infected with COVID-19. Please be aware that, by entering the theatre, you assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting COVID-19 and you agree that the theatre, organizers, charitable beneficiaries, performers and service providers are not responsible or liable for any claims relating to such risks, hazards and dangers howsoever caused including by negligence. Sorry we have to say that and, if you are uncomfortable in any way, we do offer the ability to watch from home. Let us know and we will provide a personalized link for viewing.
We look forward to seeing you on October 6th.
